Environments is a comprehensive collection of long-form field recordings designed to enhance various aspects of your life. This unique ambient sound app is based on extended recordings from the 1960s and 70s, created on analog tape. Originally released as a groundbreaking series of vinyl records that achieved widespread acclaim and sold millions of units, Environments has now made its way into the mobile age as an invaluable and distinctive sonic tool.

<li>Featuring 23 fully remastered long-form analog recordings, mostly 30 minutes or longer. These are not short loops or generic white noise – Environments captures the authentic essence of nature itself.</li>
<li>The app boasts a simple, intuitive navigation interface, with an unobtrusive, ad-free design that evokes a sense of nostalgia for simpler times.</li>
<li>You can put your favorite environment on infinite loop or create a customized playlist of your preferred recordings.</li>
<li>Environments is known for its ability to block distractions, enhance focus and mindfulness, reduce stress, and even bring relief to those with tinnitus or fussy babies.</li>
<li>The available soundscapes include ocean waves, birdsongs and dawn chorus, chimes, "be-in," thunderstorms, gentle rain, heartbeat, wind in trees, wordless choir, summer cornfield, creaky sailboat, country stream, country meadow, blizzard, and many more.</li>
<li>The app also offers an informative biography of Environments creator Irv Teibel, as well as concise informational screens for each individual recording.</li>
<li>Environments is the only app that has ever been shortlisted for the prestigious Best Historic Album Grammy award.</li>
<li>Developed through a collaboration between Syntonic Research Inc. and the Grammy-nominated reissue label Numero Group.</li>
